April 2019 Update

Dear TEN Partner:
Thanks so much for partnering with us to Touch Eternity Now, and for your prayers and support!
Mark Gooby and I did a live Facebook interview this past Monday, March 25, to provide a general overview of TEN. As I write this, we have had 731 views of the video, which may be accessed on the Crossroads Facebook page. Check it out if you’ve not yet seen it! We plan to do additional interviews in the coming months with other individuals that are part of TEN.
You may be wondering how we’re doing. In short, the response to TEN Sunday (February 10) has been fantastic, and I want to share some key numbers:

  • 330 individuals have signed up to be TEN partners.

  • 2018 avg. weekly giving:  $1,581; 2019 YTD: $2,168 (37% increase)

  • 2019 avg. weekly giving before 2/10:  $1,084; after 2/10:  $3,926 (262% increase)

  • Week of March 3- Weekly giving total was $6,083.

The bottom line is that giving to TEN, and the number of folks giving to TEN, has increased dramatically since TEN Sunday, and the number continues to trend upwards. We are so thankful for the faithful people of Crossroads Community Church and pray that more will decide to participate with us as TEN partners and givers.
Please continue to lift up Gabriel Arcanja and Modeline Ana (Lina) in your prayers as they continue through the TMU application process. Please also pray for Davies Kalange’s continued success as he meets the challenges of his freshman year.
Also, there will be a host family interest meeting on Sunday morning April 28, at 9:30 AM in the Adult Classrooms, where we will review the role and responsibilities of our student host families. If you want to find out more about this vital ministry, please come to the meeting—the only commitment is to listen! We are looking for at least four host families for this upcoming 2019-2020 term.
Please continue to pray for God to send just the right man to Crossroads to be our Go Pastor and lead all our outreach efforts, including missions, the TEN Ministry, and church planting.
God bless you! More to come next month,
Kim Miles | Elder and TEN Director
